The problem we kept running into
We were using ChatGPT for ideas, Claude for writing, and Perplexity for research. Every time we switched tools, we had to re-explain everything. We'd spend 10 minutes walking an AI through our project just to get a useful answer.
Then one day ChatGPT silently wiped months of saved memory. No warning. No backup. No acknowledgment from OpenAI. Everything we'd built up was gone.
We went looking for a tool that would save our conversations across all AI tools and let us actually search them. Nothing existed that did it well. So we built Glasscontain.
What we're building
Glasscontain is an AI memory layer that sits above all your AI tools. It captures every conversation you have across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity and connects them into a searchable knowledge base that you own.
The goal is simple: your context should travel with you. Switching AI tools shouldn't mean starting from scratch. The insights you've worked out over months shouldn't disappear because a platform pushed an update.
Our values
We will never train models on your conversations. Your captures are encrypted and belong to you.
We support every major AI tool and export to Notion, Obsidian, and plain JSON. You can leave anytime with your data.
Glasscontain is early. We'll tell you what works, what's coming, and what we're still figuring out.
